Dorota Wójcik
About Me
Dorota Wójcik (born 1987 in Gdańsk) is a visual artist and architect. She graduated the Gdańsk University of Technology with honors, receiving 2 awards for the best defended master's degree at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning in 2014. In the meantime, she started studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, painting department in the studio of prof. J. Bauć where in 2021 defended her master's degree. The combination of architecture and painting created her opportunities to work on many murals all over Poland, including had the opportunity to participate in the production of a prestigious mural by E. Dwurnik in Warsaw. Her painting works were presented, among others. in the national competition exhibition of the F. Eibisch Foundation in Warsaw. Dorota mainly deals with abstract oil painting, and she draws inspiration from nature (trees, sea, clouds). Since 2000, she has been associated with the artistic studio of Henryk Sokalski.
